One bit of information was about a Catholic family buried in unmarked graves in St Thomas Cemetery where their used to be a Catholic Church before they moved the building. (Note to the best of my knowledge I am not related, or if so it would be distantly so...) Here is info where I discovered info on these graves: The church [St Thomas Catholic Church] was closed in 1951 and the building sold the following year. A private party purchased it and moved... One bit of information was about a Catholic family buried in unmarked graves in St Thomas Cemetery where their used to be a Catholic Church before they moved the building. (Note to the best of my knowledge I am not related, or if so it would be distantly so...) Here is info where I discovered info on these graves: The church [St Thomas Catholic Church] was closed in 1951 and the building sold the following year. A private party purchased it and moved it to Lake Kampeska where it was converted into a lake cottage. The cemetery is not platted completely although part of it was done by the Crocker Legion. There are 30 graves or more, many being unmarked. Of the unmarked graves, Tom Foley had the following identifying information: Dick Rowen, a harness make in Crocker; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fountain and daughter, Minnie, a farmer north of Round Lake; ========================== From investigating this family this man was Francis "Frank" Fountain(e) son of Jean-Baptist Fountaine from French Canada and his wife Mary Fountaine (born Bertraw Bertrand) who was born in Dubuque Iowa. Note: The census data is all over the place with the name. First name varies between Frank & Francis. Last name varies whether there is an ending "e" or not. Since his father had an "e" at the end of his name, I will do the same for his family until someone has proof that it was dropped.
