Description	:	Francis Werner, 34, Succumbs Wednesday Francis J. Werner, 32, a lifelong Creighton resident and father of three young children, died Wednesday, April 25 in St. Joseph Hospital Omaha, following surgery for a brain tumor. Funeral services were conducted Saturday morning at St. Ludger Catholic Church with his brother, Rev. Cyril Werner, pastor of St. Philip and James Church of St. James, officiating at the solemn requiem high mass. Burial was in St. Ludger Cemetery. Francis J. Werner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Werner, was born at Creighton Feb. 28, 1928. He was graduated from St. Ludger Academy in 1947 and later served in the Army. He married Jeannette Vogt at Creighton on May 28, 1952. Three children were born to them, Dale Francis, age 8, Diane Kay, 6 and Geriann Marie, 5. Mr. Werner was employed at the Breece Produce Station at the time of his death. Survivors besides his wife and children are his mother, Mrs. Margaret Werner of of St. James; two brothers, the Rev. Cyril J. Werner of St. James and Cletus of Brunswick; three sisters, Mrs. Lee (Lucille) Brady of Jud, N.D., Mrs. L.E. (Evelyn )Abts and Mrs. A.B. (Rosalie) Jensen of Omaha.
