Description	:	Great Falls Tribune (MT), 27 May 1991 Francis "Frank" Skierka Francis Joseph "Frank" Skierka, 83, former Chester area farmer, died Sunday in Pincher Creek, Alberta, where he had lived since 1987. Born on Nov. 6, 1907, at Cameron, Wis., he moved to Montana with his parents in 1910 and settled on a farm south of Chester. He grew up there and acquired a farm of his own. He served in the Army Air Corps during during World War II. Skierka married Alice Mansfield on June 20, 1945, in St. Ann's Cathedral in Great Falls. The couple had nine children. He bought a cattle ranch northwest of Lundbreck, Alberta, and the family moved to Canada in 1966. They lived there until moving to Pincher Creek in 1987. Survivors include his wife; sons, Jack and Daniel, both of Lundbreck, David of Pincher Creek, and Anthony of Claresholm, Alberta; daughters, Mrs. Howard (Ann) Enes and Mrs. Bruce (Jane) Cyr, both of Pincher Creek, and Mrs. Bryan (Susan) Warriner of Didsbury, Alberta; a sister, Aurelia Dalimata of West Glacier, Mont.; and 29 grandchildren.
