Marion Chappell, whose death occurred at the St. Joseph's Hospital in Komom, Friday morning, are to be held at the New Hope Christian church Monday afternoon at 2:00, with Rev. Polly Couch-Bowman of Hemlock, and Rev. Perry, pastor of the church officiating. In addition to the widow and son, Dow Chappell, there are three grandchildren; Glen Chappell of tipton and Thomas and Linda Lou Chappell of Kokomo. Interment is to be in Fairview cemetery in this city. Marion Chappell had been a resident of the community south of Tipton, for the past 25 years, and had been a resident of the county all his life. He was an industrious, strictly honest resident, and a man who had many friends among all classes. The deceased was twice married, his first wife dying when young. She was Maggie (Pickett) Chappell. Marion was then married to Miss Ida Bozell on January 17, 1914. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bozell, who survives. He is also survived by one son, Dow Chappell of Kokomo, by the first marriage, and a grandson, Glenn Chappell, who makes his home with mr. and Mrs. Frank Essig, south of Tipton. Mrs. Addie Leavitt, of Tipton, is a step-sister and Mrs. Chester Prilliman, of Tipton, a niece os the deceased.
