Description	:	FRANCIS YAHN DIES Special to The Gazette: Dunlap - Francis Yahn, a resident of the Dunlap community for more than 70 years, died Thursday afternoon at 2:10 o'clock in the Morris County hospital in Council Grove. He had been sick since Tuesday. Mr. Yahn, who was 77 years old, was born near Emporia, and moved to the Dunlap neighborhood when he was five years old. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mildred Cobb, Dunlap; a son, Robert Yahn, Dunlap; one sister, Mrs. Emma Shellenberger, Allen; and six grandchildren. Mrs. Yahn preceded him in death four years... THE EMPORIA GAZETTE Feb. 15, 1951 RITES FOR FRANCIS YAHN Special to The Gazette Dunlap - Funeral services for Francis Yahn of Dunlap who died Thursday afternoon in the Morris County hospital, were held Sunday afternoon in the Dunlap Methodist church at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. J. H. Blackburn was in charge of the services. Mrs. Dorothy Freeman and Mrs. Royal Ryman sang, accompanied by Miss Yvonne Anderson. Burial was in the Dunlap cemetery. Pallbearers were Ray Linn, Frant Clark, T. L. Curtis, George Viar, Allen Whitaker and W. W. Bernard. THE EMPORIA GAZETTE Feb., 1951
