Frank was born December 7, 1930 to Wilbur and Iva Umbel Bingham in Marion County, Iowa He was one of nine children. He had farmed, worked at Maytag, and retired after 33 years at Firestone in Dex Moines. He was a member of the United Rubber Workers Local 310 and currently a member of SOAR (Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees). Frank was also actively involved and a member in the Assembly of God Church in Melcher-Dallas. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Helen. He is survived by his wife Shirley of Melcher-Dallas, nine children: Mary Dowd of Knoxville, Iva Schultz of Monroe, Bob Bingham of Melcher-Dallas, Frankie Bingham of Beech, David L. Bingham of Knoxville, Sally Rodda of Knoxville, David Allen Bingham, Melcher-Dallas, Darren Lee Bingham, Melcher-Dallas, Also surviving are eight brothers and sisters: Kenneth of Melcher-Dallas, Alberta Ryerson, Unionville, Missouri, Maggie Hooten of Ottumwa, Roy of Pershing, Bertha Gibbons of Attica, and Gene of Davenort; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Arrangments were made by Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Melcher-Dallas.
