Description	:	Frank Casteel, 58, who owned and operated a restaurant in Creighton for 12 years, passed away last Thursday evening at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. L.L. Schrader in Bloomfield. Death, attributed to hardening of the arteries, followed an illness of 19 months. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 in the Methodist church at Bloomfield with Rev. C.G. Ellis officiating. Interment was made at Plainview. Frank Casteel was born in Mt. Ayr, Iowa, May 4, 1881. When 10 months old, he moved with his parents to Pierce, where he grew to young manhood. When he was 18, the family moved to Randolph. He married Maude Bernard of Ponca, Dec. 24, 1903. She preceded him in death in July 1937. Surviving are three daughters, Mabel and Mrs. L.L. Schrader of Bloomfield and Phyllis; two sons, LaMonte and James; five grandsons and two brothers, Ed of Randolph and Roy of Omaha. ...The Creighton News 11 April 1940
