Description	:	Frank August Herr, youngest son of Jacob and Margaret Herr, was born January 20, 1893, on a farm near Humboldt, Nebr. He grew up and lived most of his life in and around Humboldt except for the last eight years of his life when he made his home with his daughter in Nelson, Nebr. He grew up and lived most of his life in and around Humboldt except for the last eight years of his life when he made his home with his daughter in Nelson, Nebr. On January 25, 1917, he was united in marriage to Pearl Lydia Rexroth. Two daughters were born to this union -- Verna, Mrs. Allen Kruse, of Nelson, and Betty Lou, Mrs. Edward J. Wessell, of Lincoln, Nebr. Frank joined the German Methodist Church of Humboldt at an early age and later was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church when the two churches merged. In 1958 he transferred his membership to the Methodist Church at Nelson. He was always an active and faithful member of his church. His health had not been good for some time and he had been in the hospital at Superior, Nebr., for just a week when he passed from this earthly life on June 24, 1960. He leaves to mourn his passing two daughters, six grandchildren, one brother, Guss Herr of Humboldt, two sisters, Mrs. Jacob Schuetz of Verdon, Nebr., and Mrs. Lawrence Kritner of Lincoln, Nebr., and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements and interment in the Humboldt cemetery (sic) were conducted by the Klawitter funeral home of Nelson, with the Rev. Lincoln B. Justice of the Nelson Methodist Church officiating.
