He was born December 23, 1930, in Shelby County, MO, the son of Steve and Myrtle Sebree Thrasher. On March 9, 1999, he was united in marriage to Mary Johnston at Holy Name Catholic Church in West Palm Beach, FL. She survives. He was born December 23, 1930, in Shelby County, MO, the son of Steve and Myrtle Sebree Thrasher. On March 9, 1999, he was united in marriage to Mary Johnston at Holy Name Catholic Church in West Palm Beach, FL. She survives. Frank is also survived by two children, Paul Thrasher and Debbie Schafer, both of Palm Beach, FL; one step-son Jim Johnston (Vera) of Clarence; one granddaughter, Celia Schafer of El Paso, TX; three step-grandchildren, Spencer, Bryce and Cassidy Johnston; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Art, Mick and Les Thrasher; and four sisters, Mae Wells, Zella Cockrum, Ruby Lewis and Lena Robinson. Frank was born in Shelby County but spent most of his life in Florida. He moved back to Shelby County in 1999. While in Florida he owned and operated a produce shipping business. Frank served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed flying his plane, motorcycling, hunting and all outdoor activities. His greatest love was his family, especially his grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Clarence. Funeral will be Thursday, April 12, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Kelly Perry and Fr. Dandi Bermejo will officiate. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Clarence, where Military Rites will be by the Missouri Military Team. Memorials may be made to the Shiloh Christian Children's Ranch, Clarence, MO.
