Description	:	Frank Curtis Ward Met Accidental Death The tragic death of Frank Curtis Ward occurred last Friday at a few paces from the C.L. Ward home. The young man was starting on a hunting trip across the field. In stepping upon an embankment of the grade his foot slipped, resulting in the cartridge being exploded, the contents entering his neck, resulting in instant death. The funeral of Frank Curtis Ward, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Ward, was held Sunday from the M.E. church, services being conducted by Rev. Littrell. The funeral of Frank Curtis Ward, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Ward, was held Sunday from the M.E. church, services being conducted by Rev. Littrell. A very great number of friends and acquaintances of the family were in attendance at the funeral. Frank Curtis Ward, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Ward, was born on April 21, 1893 and died at the home of his parents near Creighton on November 7, 1924 at the age of 31 years, 8 months and 18 days. He was born in Dodge County, Nebraska and, at the age of 20 years, came with his parents to this community, where he has made his home with his parents. He leaves to mourn his death besides his parents; two brothers and two sisters, Roy and Jay, both of Creighton and sisters, Mrs. L.S. Wilkins of Norfolk and Mabel of Omaha. He was a member of the Congregational church, having joined at Dodge, Nebraska. Interment was made in Greenwood cemetery.
