Frank was born on December 3, 1926, in rural Seward County near Beaver Crossing to Frank D., Sr., and Vera (Roland) Watts. He was married to Bonnie Miller on May 23, 1956, at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Exeter. He was employed by American Stores and later, First Federal Bank in Lincoln. Frank was a member of the American Legion Post 178 in Beaver Crossing; St. John the Apostle Catholic Church; VFW, Royal Majesty Car Club; and the Lincoln Senior Golf League, all of Lincoln. Frank is survived by his wife, Bonnie; children, Mary Versaw and husband, Marty; Marcy Naffziger and husband, Arlen; Mindy Althouse and Martin Watts and wife Gwen; grandchildren, Brent, Ryan and Kyle Versaw; Megan and Madison Althouse; Delaney, Conner and Bethany Naffziger; sister, Phyllis Stutzman; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty and Ernest Motis; cousins, Ruth Lauree and Jerome Rehor; many nieces and nephews. Frank is preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law Daniel Althouse; sister, Wanda Lamson; half-sisters, Vergie Johnson, J'Net Hickenlooper and Bernadeen Bye; half-brothers, Vernon Watts and Keith Porter and an infant brother. Funeral services were held December 9 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 70th and Vine, Lincoln, with Father Lyle M. Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Exeter Cemetery in Exeter.
