THOMAS Frank DeLacy Thomas was born on March 1, 1875, at Centerville, Iowa, and died suddenly at his home at St. Paul, Nebraska, on December 1, 1962. He was 87 years old. As a young man he engaged in the coal mining business in Missouri and Iowa, later becoming the owner of a meat market there. THOMAS Frank DeLacy Thomas was born on March 1, 1875, at Centerville, Iowa, and died suddenly at his home at St. Paul, Nebraska, on December 1, 1962. He was 87 years old. As a young man he engaged in the coal mining business in Missouri and Iowa, later becoming the owner of a meat market there. In the early 1900’s he came to Palmer, Nebraska, to make his home with Mr. and Mrs. Horace Weems and engaged in farming and raising purebred horses and hogs. On January 25, 1928, he married Mrs. Jennie Sowl at Centerville, Iowa. The couple made their home on a farm east of Fullerton until the death of Mrs. Weems in 1942 when they moved to a ranch near Palmer to make their home with Mr. Weems. In 1960, they moved to St. Paul to make their home. He is survived by his wife; a son, Faye Thomas of Glendale, California; a step-daughter, Mrs. Frances Keith of Grand Island; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. C. D. Smith of Whiting, Kansas, and Mrs. Allie Finch of Sedalia, Missouri. He was preceded in death by three brothers and a son. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Norman Crouse, pastor of the Fullerton Methodist Church, on December 4 at the Beaman & Palmer Funeral Home here. Burial was in the Fullerton Cemetery.
