Description	:	Frank Delos Brown was born September 9, 1862 in Monticello, Wisconsin; died August 15, 1924, at his home in Miller, Nebraska, age 61 years, 11 month, 6 days. When, six month old, his parents moved to new York state and his boyhood days were spent in Pulaski, New York. At the age of twenty-one he came to Nebraska and located in St. Paul. In June, 1887, he moved to Miller (then called Armada), and established the First Bank of Miller, of which institution he was president at his death, having been active manager of the bank for the past thirty-seven... Read More	Frank Delos Brown was born September 9, 1862 in Monticello, Wisconsin; died August 15, 1924, at his home in Miller, Nebraska, age 61 years, 11 month, 6 days. When, six month old, his parents moved to new York state and his boyhood days were spent in Pulaski, New York. At the age of twenty-one he came to Nebraska and located in St. Paul. In June, 1887, he moved to Miller (then called Armada), and established the First Bank of Miller, of which institution he was president at his death, having been active manager of the bank for the past thirty-seven years. He was united in Marriage in January, 1999, to Cornelia A. Norton, to which union two sons were born. His church affiliations were with the Episcopal church. He was a charter member of Square and Compass Lodge No. 213, Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons, of Miller Nebraska later affiliating with Compass and Square Lodge No. 213, of Sumner, Nebraska. He also belonged to Hastings, Nebraska, Consistory Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite Masons, 32nd degree; to Tehama Temple, Ancient and Accepted Order Nobles of the Mystic Shrine of Hastings, Nebraska; to the Royal Arch Masons at Kearney, Nebraska; and to Logan Lodge No. 125, Knights of Pythias, of Miller, Nebraska. He was a true citizen, ever ready to do his part in the advancement of his town or community, giving full support to every measure that looked toward social, moral or civic progress. He leaves to mourn their loss besides his besides his wife, Cornelia A. Brown, two sons, Frank Ross of Omaha, Nebraska, and Claire Norton, of Miller, Nebraska; two grandchildren, Helena and Ross Jr., one sister, Mrs. Ella A. Gillespie, of Wayne, Nebraska; a stepmother, Mrs. Samantha Brown of Pulaski, New York and a host of friends and neighbors. Funeral services were held at the home Sunday, August 17, 1924, at 2:30 p.m., by the Rev. W. F. Hughes. Interment was in the Miller cemetery under the auspices of the Masonic order.
