Description	:	Mrs. Cornelia Adile Brown, 74, died Saturday afternoon at Sunnyside (Hastings), where she had resided for the past year. She was the mother of Claire N. "Ted" Brown of this city. Cornelia was born at Buffalo, New York in January of 1865 to Zadoc and Helen Ross Norton. The Norton family consisted of Katie S., Flora A., Cornelia, Clyde W., and twins, Clifford H. and Clayton S. The family later moved to Howard County, Nebraska where Cornelia and Frank Delos Brown were married in January of 1888. Read More	Mrs. Cornelia Adile Brown, 74, died Saturday afternoon at Sunnyside (Hastings), where she had resided for the past year. She was the mother of Claire N. "Ted" Brown of this city. Cornelia was born at Buffalo, New York in January of 1865 to Zadoc and Helen Ross Norton. The Norton family consisted of Katie S., Flora A., Cornelia, Clyde W., and twins, Clifford H. and Clayton S. The family later moved to Howard County, Nebraska where Cornelia and Frank Delos Brown were married in January of 1888. The Browns lived in Miller, Nebraska where Frank, in 1887, had established The First Bank of Miller. Frank and Cornelia were the parents of Frank Ross Brown and Claire Norton Brown. She was a proud member of DAR. After the death of her husband in 1924, Cornelia (Nela) continued living in Miller until a few years ago when she moved to Colorado Springs. For the last year she had made her home in Hastings near her son Claire. Aside from the son here, she is survived by another son, Frank Ross of Colorado Springs, Colorado, one brother, Clyde W. Norton of Sacramento, California, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. One of the grandchildren is Mrs. Alex Pauley of Hastings. Prayer service will be held at the Brand Funeral Home Tuesday morning, beginning at 9 o'clock, with Dr. A. V. King officiating. Funeral services will be held at the Miller United Brethren Church Tuesday at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Miller.
