| Description | : | Frank Edward Koefelda was born in Great Falls, Montana on June 22, 1930 to Frank C. Koefelda (1899-1937) and Ruth (Faris) Koefelda (1904-2002). During the Korean War, he was drafted and served from 1951 to 1953. Following the war, he served at the Presidio in San Francisco. His career included 13 years as a traffic officer for the California Highway Patrol as well as jobs in the propane, real estate and transportation businesses.
