Read More	EICH, FRANK EUGENE—Frank Eugene Eich, youngest child of John and Mary Eich, was born January 20, 1893, near Shickley, Neb. Death came unexpectedly at his home in Geneva, Neb., April 20, 1968, at the age of 75 years and 3 months. At an early age, he moved with his parents to a farm near Strang. August 26, 1919, he was united in marriage to Grace M. Messman. This union was blessed with two children, Keith and Hazel. His life occupation was farming. After moving to Geneva in May, 1949, he continued his farming interest with his son. He was a kind and loving husband and father and greatly enjoyed being with his grandchildren. In December, 1967, Frank and Grace moved into their newly completed home, in time to spend Christmas with their family. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Grace, his companion of nearly 49 years; one son Keith, of Strang; one daughter, Mrs. Bernard Hinrichs of Bruning; one daughter-in-law, one son-in-law and nine grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Frank Kamler and Miss Julia Eich of Geneva, and numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. Specialist 5th class Max E. Hinrichs, stationed at Kaiser-slautern, Germany, with the United States Army, arrived here Tuesday for his grandfather’s funeral. Funeral services were held at the Kritner-Farmer funeral home at 2 p. m. Wednesday, April 24. Rev. Delano Spitzer officiated. A quartet, Wayne Kempf, Clinton Lauber, Henry Lauber and Lowell Steider sang “Sweet Are the Promises” and “Going Down the Valley.” Pallbearers were Homer Bumgarner, Mervell Bumgarner, Harry Dondlinger, Charley Hobbs, Wayne Langhorst and Lowell Messman.
