Description	:	Frank Henry Schumacher, 91, Kenmare, died Sunday at the Kenmare Hospital. His funeral will be held today, Wednesday, November 13 at 10:30 a.m., at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Kenmare, with burial in the church cemetery. The rosary was recited Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the church. Casketbearers were Steven Schumacher, Randall Schumacher, Fred Russell, James Russell, Dan Olson, and James Olson. Organist was Mrs. Maureen Munch, and Fr. Joseph Adkins officiated at the service. He was born Sept. 25, 1894, at Loretta, MN, a son of Joseph and Mary Schumacher. He came to North Dakota with his family in April 1903, on the Emigrant Train, and they settled near Flaxton. Later that year they moved to an area south of Kenmare where the town of Kenaston now is located. He married Marie Hoffman, April 2, 1918 at Kenmare. They celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary this year. They lived in the Kenmare area where he farmed and also worked on a government work project and in the coal mines in the Kenmare area. He then went to work for the Great Northern Railroad, retiring in 1962. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife; sons, Joseph, Coal City, IL, Francis, Kalispell, MT, Lawrence, James and Luke, all of Kenmare; daughters, Hilda Weaver, Chinook, MT, Mrs. H. Burton (Margaret) Olson and Mrs. Donald (Mary) Russell, both Minot, Mrs. Loyal (Dorothy) Hanrahan, Colfax, WA; 21 grandchildren; brother, William, Isanti, MN; sisters, Sister Mary Cecelia, Belleville, IL, Marie Miller, Spokane, WA.
