Description	:	Lucy Craft, born July 8, 1881 in Wapakoneta, Ohio was the daughter of John Craft and Lydia Decius. She married Frank A. Koenig, son of George Koenig (sometimes known as "George King") and Margaret Burkhardt, on September 14, 1900 in Auglaize County, Ohio. Their son, Arthur Clarence, was born 7 months and 17 days after their marriage, in an old Shawnee cabin located on the property of Lucy's father. Lucy's husband, Frank, died of TB in 1904 (he was born in April of 1879). He had gone to Colorado Springs for the cure after Lucy died. He got so homesick he went back to Ohio and soon died. Arthur, his son, was three years old. Arthur said his memory of his father was of a very sad-faced man. His father had lost his wife and knew that he himself was going to die soon. Frank was a fiddler and played for dances. He inherited the violin that his grandfather Johann George Koenig had brought over from "Bavaria" {the Koenigs were from Steinheim , Wurttemburg, which is near Bavaria). Either Lucy or her sister played the guitar. Frank's photograph appears in the St Marys Evening Leader of 6-8-1973, along with the rest of his classmates: "Ferguson School in 1888-1889." His siblings Margaret (married name Wright), Rose, and George also appear in the photo. In the 1900 census he was living with his father and his father's new wife, Henrietta Finke.
