Description : Frank was the son of Martin Frank Kohinka and Amelia C. Riecke. His parents lived in the Hydesville area from 1900 to 1910. By 1920 they were living in the Rio Dell area.

Frank was accidentally killed trying to save a friend a co-worker, Otis Burnett, while moving a house across Highway 101 near Metropolitan (just north of Rio Dell). Both men perished.
