Mr. Kraft passed away early Friday morning, March 17, after a brief illness. He had returned only a week before his death from his annual winter sojourn at Hot Springs, AR., and contracted pneumonia shortly after returning. Mr. Kraft passed away early Friday morning, March 17, after a brief illness. McAninch and E. C. Kempf. Interment was made in I.O.O.F. cemetery. Frank Kraft, son of John and Elizabeth Kraft, was born September 15, 1871, on a farm southwest of Victor in Warren township, Poweshiek county. He attended schools here and spent his entire life in Victor. For several years he worked in a general merchandise store here. He is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Edward Kraft of Neoga, IL., Ellen Kraft of Victor, Mrs. Margaret DeBord and Charles K. Kraft, both of Clinton. His parents and one brother, George, preceded him in death.
