Read More	From an unknown newspaper; date: "Jackson Township Farmer Succumbs" "Frank Krotz, Prominent Resident, Dies Suddenly - Funeral is Tomorrow" "Frank Krotz, one of the well known farmers of Jackson township, died Sunday morning at 2 o'clock at his home eight and a half miles northeast of the city. For a number of years Mr. Krotz had been in ill health, but his serious illness dated back for only two weeks. The Krotz family is one of the most prominent of that community and Mr. Krotz was held in high esteem by his neighbors. He had lived in Jackson township nearly his whole life and all his interests centered in his home and his family. He was an excellent husband and father and his death comes as a sad blow in his home. "Mr. Krotz was born in Bohemia March 31, 1862, and was a son of Frank Krotz and Anna Zyska Krotz, who came to America when he was a small boy, 47 years ago. He was reared in Jackson township and was married 29 years ago on February 23, to Agnes Sojka, who survives him. Eight children were born to them, of whom seven are living. One child, John, died in infancy. The living are Lena, Charles, Otto, Mrs. Milada Hora, Anna, Frank and Roy all of whom live at home with the exception of Otto, who lives on a farm north of town and Mrs. Hora, who resides near Riverside. Two brothers and one sister are also living: James Krotz of Blackwell, Okla., Mrs. James Yansky of Richmond, and John Krotz of Highland township. "Funeral services are announced for Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at the home, and will be in charge of Dr. L.M. Grigsby of the Methodist church. Interment will be in Elm Grove cemetery."
