Description	:	Frank Leo Drey was born at Early on Nov. 11, 1887 the son of George and Mary Drey. He died at the Buena Vista County hospital Sept. 13, 1972, at the age of 84 years, 10 months and two days. He received his education at Early and grew to manhood in that community. He died at the Buena Vista County hospital Sept. 13, 1972, at the age of 84 years, 10 months and two days. He received his education at Early and grew to manhood in that community. On June 14, 1923, he was united in marriage to Ella Winsor at Early. Their union was blessed with ten children. An infant son and an infant daughter preceded him in death. During his entire lifetime Mr. Drey was engaged in farming until his retirement in May, 1966 when he and his wife moved to 601 Iowa in Storm Lake. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic church in Early. Surviving are his wife; six daughters, Mrs. Arnold (Mary) Lundberg, Mrs. Arnold (Catherine) Williams and Mrs. Herb (Elaine) Mills of Storm Lake, Mrs. Charles (Phyllis) Point of Sioux Falls, S. D., Mrs. Leslie (Helen) Holley of Elkhart, Ind., and Mrs. Jean Ann Wagner of Clearfield, Utah; two sons, Frank W. of Minneapolis, Minn., and James J. of San Juan, Puerto Rico.; 43 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to his two children, he was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and 10 sisters. Requiem Mass was celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic church in Early at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, with Father Gerald F. Lyon as celebrant. Attendants were Bernard Engler, Woodrow Drey, William Drey, Harold Lange, Frank Struchen and Alvin Drey. Interment was in Sacred Heart cemetery. Farber & Otteman funeral home of Storm Lake in charge of arrangements.
