Description	:	Funeral services for Frank L. Winter pioneer resident of Villisca and vicinity, were held Tuesday at 2 pm at the Sutphen funeral home. He died Friday evening at the Municipal hospital in Clarinda where he had been a patient four weeks. The funeral was conducted by the Rev L.H. Athy. The singing was by Cecil Weaver, accompanied by Mrs Frances Wheeler, and in charge of the flowers were Mrs Wm Findley and Mrs Russell Roberts. Pallbearers were Earl Scott, Walter Matthaei, Don Anderson, John Zuber jr, Malcolm Victor and Fred Focht, and interment was in the North Page cemetery. Read More	Funeral services for Frank L. Frank Leslie Winter, son of Nicholas Clemmons and Amelia Moore Winter, was born on a farm in Page county, Iowa, April 27, 1865. He was united in marriage with Miss Rosella McIntyre Feb 10, 1892, and to this union four children were born. They are Marvin E., Kremlin, Mont., Mrs Hazel M. Fisher, Harold F. and J. Russell, all of Villisca. Mr Winter was one of nine children. All of his life was spent in this vicinity. He lived 55 years on the same farm northeast of Villisca, moving to his present home in Villisca three years ago. Five brothers and sisters preceded him in death. Besides his wife and the four children, he leaves six grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren, two sisters, Mrs Laura king of Ashland, Neb, and Mrs Nettie Morley of Vancouver, B.C., and one brother, Earl Winter of Kremlin, Mont.
