The Rev. Duane Haidle of the Evangelical church in Bozeman officiated. Mrs. David Stewert was organist and Mrs. Don Costock soloist, who sang, "Rock of Ages'" Casket bearers were Paul Carter, Otis Thompson, Harvey Manley, Claude Lasich, Lester Huddleston and Gerald Delin. Graveside services were held in Big Timber at Mountain View Cemetery where Mr. Gottlob was intered. Frank Murray Gottlob was born July 7, 1885, at Grey Cliff, the son of Frank and Josephine Gottlob. He grew up on the family ranch on the lower Sweet Grass and attended Howie school. Later he attended Bozeman college. From 1917 to 1920 he ran a coal and wood business in Livingston and also had a gasoline and oil dealership there. He returned to ranching in the '20s and continued in that field until 1949 when he moved to Bozeman and worked as a painter. He was a member of the Evangelical Church of North America. He was married to Mathilda Pirschell on June 6, 1928. She preceded him in death in February 1966. Survivors include a son, Frank P. Gottlob, Bozeman; three daughters, Mrs. Bob (Betty) Thompson, Billings; Mrs. Elvin ( Marilyn) Michels, Great Falls; Mrs. Donald (Kathryn) Meek, Ellensburg, WN., three sisters, Mrs. Mike (Ann) Hoyem, Melville Mrs. Sue Anderson, San Diego, Calif., Mr.s Mamie Buell, San Diego, and 13 grandchildren.
