He was born May 1, 1904 on the American Fork, Wheatland County, Montana, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Peterson. He lived all of his life in the area of Bridger Creek, Grey Cliff, Reed Point and Big Timber. He retired from the Northern Pacific Railroad on August 21, 1968 with a record of 41 years of service.
