OBITUARY Havre Daily News (MT), 9 Nov 1931 Frank Stremcha North Havre Rancher Dies Saturday Frank Stremcha, who lived 30 miles northeast of Havre, died at a local hospital from pneumonia Saturday night, and was buried from the Holland and Bonine chapel on Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Pall bearers included John Stranak, Mike Sakup, Tony Dubra, Fred Vavra, Jerry Klement and Joe Patera. Burial was in Calvary cemetery. Mr. Stremcha was brought to Havre last Monday night but was unable to resist the disease. He was a native of Bohemia, being born there March 18, 1872, coming to Pennsylvania in 1903, where he engaged in coal mining. Later he lived in Illinois and came to Havre in 1914. He has resided on his ranch for many years. Mr. Stremcha is survived by his wife and five children; Mrs. Tom O'Neal, Frank, Jr., William, Mrs. E. Hardy, and Josephine Stremcha. All live near Havre. He is also survived by his brother, Antone, who lives near Havre; a sister, Mrs. Joe Pleskac, of near Havre; and Mrs. Mary Hatler, of Baltimore, Md. His aged mother, now 89 years old, also survives him, lived with her son Frank. Mr. Stremcha was held in high esteem by his neighbors. ---- Children: Rosie, Frank, William, Emily, Josephine
