Bryant, at Ages, Ky., killed in a mine. Frank was the son of the late H.E. and Mrs. Mary Bryant, who now lives at Luray. He is survived by his widow, who was Miss Lula Evick and son, Frank two sisters, Mrs. James Brown and Miss Nettie Bryant. At this time no funeral arrangements have been made, but probably will be Thursday. The death of this well beloved young man brings sorrow to many hearts, as he was always interested in the welfare of others, also in civic and affairs. He was a member of the Presbyterian church here and always attended when in town, Mr. and Mrs. James Brown and three children, Mrs. Mary Bryant and Mrs. Tom Brown of Luray arrived yesterday afternoon for the funeral. Highland Recorder October 21, 1927 Frank W. Bryant, son of the late H.E. Bryant and Mrs. Mary Bryant was killed Oct. 10th at Harlan, Ky. He was superintendent of the Harlan Collieries Co., and was struck by a car in the mine, which caused his death in a few moments. He is survived by his widow, one son, Frank, Jr., his mother, two sisters, Miss Nettie, and Mrs. James Brown of Luray. His body reached here Thursday morning and the funeral services were conducted by his pastor, Rev. L.M. Moffett, assisted by Rev. W.W. Stevens. The pall bearers were Orlan Hicklin, Louie Williams, W.H. Darby, S.C. Ervine, J.S. Hansel, and J.H. McKinley of Kentucky. Highland Lodge No. 110, took charge of the service at the grave, which was very impressive. Part of the floral tribute was carried by the cousins and friends of the deceased.
