Description	:	Frank W. Duval, 83, died at 4:10 a.m. Jan. 28, 2011, at Primrose Retirement Communities. He was born Aug. 15, 1927, in Hillsboro, N.H. to Romeo and Nina Saunders Duval, who preceded him in death. On June 25, 1949, he married Patricia Burgoon, who died Dec. 10, 1998. Mr. Duval retired in 1985 as a salesman from Montgomery Ward after many years. In 1964, he established Duval Tax Services. He was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 56 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370. He was the last surviving member of the "Snakes."... Mr. Duval retired in 1985 as a salesman from Montgomery Ward after many years. In 1964, he established Duval Tax Services. He was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 56 and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370. He was the last surviving member of the "Snakes." He was a member of Hawthorn Hills and was an avid golfer. He served an Second Ward city of Lima councilman. He announced Lima Central Catholic football games at Lima Stadium for many years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include three daughters, Shelly Contini, of Lima, Laurie (Mark) Judy, of Beavercreek, and Katie (Mike) Schroeder, of Glandorf; three sons, Steve (Sue) Duval, of Atlanta, Dan (Alicia) Duval, of Saginaw, Mich., and Mark Duval, of Lima; a brother, Jim Duval, of Bradenton, Fla.; three sisters, Connie (Tom) Grimstad, of Columbus, and Mary Duval and Corinne (Marty) O'Brien, both of Milwaukee; and 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gerard Catholic Church. Father James McDonald will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Chiles-Laman Shawnee Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rob Contini Memorial Scholarship or St. Gerard Catholic Church.
