He was born Dec. 12, 1897, in Blakesburg to Ira and Anna Miller Glover. He married Pauline P. Peck on Dec. 6, 1936, in Ottumwa. Read More	Obituary From "The Ottumwa Courier," April 1, 1994: Frank A. Glover, 97, of 1401 Chester died April 1, 1994, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center. He was born Dec. 12, 1897, in Blakesburg to Ira and Anna Miller Glover. He married Pauline P. Peck on Dec. 6, 1936, in Ottumwa. He was a veteran of World War I, serving in France and flying the English Channel. In World War II, he worked as a civilian training instructor for the Army Engineers in San Antonio, Texas, and received the ATSC Award of Merit at Kelly Field. He wrote an instructional course in aviation fuel handling and storage, which was later taught at several large military bases. He was an 85-year member of Willard Street United Methodist Church and served on its board of trustees. He was a member of O.B. Nelson Post No. 3 of American Legion and received a 75-year anniversary award in October 1993. He was past president of Toastmasters International Club and Ottumwa Evening Kiwanis Club and a life member of the Wapello County Historical Society. He is survived by his wife. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Lester; and a sister, Irene Prose. A graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Ottumwa, the Rev. Wilbert Trusheim officiating. Visitation will begin after 11 a.m. Sunday at Robertson-Jay Funeral Home. Family visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to his church.
