She was born Sept. 15, 1908, in Blakesburg to Clark and Fannie Tinsley Peck. She married Frank A. Glover on Dec. 6, 1936, in Ottumwa. He died April 1, 1994. She attended Iowa Success Business College. She was a former employee of Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. She was a former manager and buyer for People's Store. In 1942, she moved to San Antonio, Texas, and was a purchasing and contracting supervisor at U.S. Army Air Force Kelley Field and received an Award of Merit for her work. She was a ready-to-wear buyer at T.J. Madden in Ottumwa for 30 years, before retiring in 1978. She was a member of Willard Street United Methodist Church for over 50 years, a life member of the Wapello County Historical Society and In His Name Circle of King's Daughters, a past member of U.S. Small Business Administration, Ottumwa Regional Health Center Auxiliary, PEO Chapter G, Just Friends Club, Chapter #112 Order of Easter Star and Sunshine Society. She is survived by a sister, Edna Brainard of Ottumwa. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Lawrence, Emmett, Paul and John; and an infant sister. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. today at Memorial Lawn Cemetery, the Rev. Stephanie Raphael-Nakos officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorial may be made to the donor's choice. Robertson-Jay Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
