He was born Nov. 18, 1934, in Ames to Vachel and Laura (Wiser) Huber. Frank was an avid hunter and sportsman. He was avid about blue rock in his early years. He was born Nov. 18, 1934, in Ames to Vachel and Laura (Wiser) Huber. Frank was an avid hunter and sportsman. He was avid about blue rock in his early years. Frank spent most of his life farming around the Concordia and Cloud County area. Survivors include his daughters of his first marriage. Sherry Nelson and husband Brad, of Jamestown, and Brenda Wisbey and husband John, of Glasco; sisters, Arvilla Hanson and husband Ted, of Littleton, Colo., and Marilyn (Giroux) Appleby, of Salina; brothers, Walt Huber and wife Barbara, and Bob Huber and wife Pam. all of Concordia; son of his second marriage, Paul Huber, of Hutchinson; daughters of his second marriage, Robin Dutton and husband Doug, of Lindsborg, and Dani Nelson, of Aurora; and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sons from his first marriage, Dana Dean and Franklin Huber; parents; sister, Vera (Purcell) Lewis; and brother, Jimmie Huber. Per Frank's wishes, he was cremated. Private Family Celebration of Life Services will be at a later date. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia. Memorials may be given to the Frank Huber Memorial fund, in care of Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia.
