Cause of death: Pulmonary tuburculosis - far advanced. =============================== OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN) Funeral services for Franklin Oren Brown, who died Friday in the Irene Byron Sanitorium will be announced later following receipt of word from the sons in the service. Mr. Brown, who was born in Portland, Oct. 18, 1889, was the son of Eugene and Ivie (Haines) Brown. He was married Sept. 15, 1912 to Dorothy Wittery who survives. Other survivors are the mother, who lives at Portland; three sons, Thomas, U.S. Army in Oregon, Grover with the Marines in San Diego, Calif., and Donald with the Navy in San Diego; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Ellison and Mrs. Harold Bostic, Wabash; five brothers, Walter, Middletown, Pa., Vern, Couderay, Wisc., Lloyd and Herbert, Cincinnati and Eugene Detroit; one sister, Mrs. Flora Hendricks, Louisville, Ky.; and 10 grandchildren. Mr. Brown attended the First Spritualist church and was a former member of the Eagles Lodge. He served one year with the Army at Fort Logan, Colo. The body will be taken later from the Wire Funeral home to the family residence at 256 Ericson Street. FUNERAL - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN) Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the First Spriritualist church for Frank O. Brown, who died Friday in the Irene Byron Sanitorium in Fort Wayne. The Rev. Nettie White will officiate and burial will be in Falls cemetery. The body was taken from the Wire Funeral home to the family residence, 245 Ericson street Saturday evening.
