Description	:	Ammon, Franklin P. 1852-1918 The body of Franklin P. Ammon, who died at his home in Cherry County, Nebraska last Wednesday at the age 65 years arrived in Villisca last Friday forenoon. Funeral services were held from the Christian Church at 3 o'clock that afternoon and the remains were interred in the Villisca Cemetery. Rev. J. A. Ammon, who died at his home in Cherry County, Nebraska last Wednesday at the age 65 years arrived in Villisca last Friday forenoon. McKinzie, pastor of the Christian Church in Red Oak. Mr. Ammon was well known in the vicinity of Morton Mills, where he and his family resided for a number of years. They moved to Nebraska about 12 years ago, where he was engaged in farming and cattle raising. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was a highly respected citizen. Franklin P. Ammon was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, November 16, 1852. He was united in marriage to Miss Mary M. Hinton, February 9, 1881. To this union were born three children, one son and two daughters. One daughter died in infancy and the son is serving his country on French soil, laving only one child, Mrs. Mable Maines of New Market, here to comfort Mrs. Ammon in her sorrow.
