He was one of the pioneers of this community. He resided about three miles south of Linwood. He went through all the hardships in the early days. He had many friends. All who knew him liked him, as he was one who was always willing to help where help was needed. He was buried Tuesday from the Catholic church at Abie in the Abie cemetery.
