Description	:	Mr. Fred Brantsen, farmer living west of town passed away early Wednesday morning at the age of 56 years and eleven months. He had been in poor health for some time and suffered a very serious heart attack last week Tuesday afternoon. Since that time he was in a critical condition until the time of his death. Mr. Brantsen was united in marriage to Miss Ella Franken. They started out in farming west of town where they lived all these years. Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon Feb. 23 at one o'clock at the home and at one thirty o'clock at the First Chr. Reformed Church. Rev. Bernard Haan will officiate at the services. Burial will take place at the local cemetery and acting as pallbearers will be Tony Van Roekel, Gerrit Vander Kamp, John Vander Hoef, Jake Harskamp, William Vander hoef and Lane Bruinsma.
