Description	:	Fred D Forth, son of Eddison P and Anna Liza Forth was born at Willow Springs, Kansas, October 18, 1883, and died in a Topeka hospital Sunday, April 29, 1951. When he was 10 years of age the family moved to Bethel community and the remainder of his life was spent there and in Overbrook vicinity. Read More	Fred D Forth, son of Eddison P and Anna Liza Forth was born at Willow Springs, Kansas, October 18, 1883, and died in a Topeka hospital Sunday, April 29, 1951. When he was 10 years of age the family moved to Bethel community and the remainder of his life was spent there and in Overbrook vicinity. On February 3, 1909 he was married to Mae Skaggs and to this union was born one son, Harry. Mr Forth was a member of the Methodist church and an active member of the IOOF lodge of Overbrook. He was past grand and he held appointive offices of the Grand Lodge. At the time of his death he was Deputy Grand Master. Fred was always friendly and willing to help anyone in need. He is survived by his wife Mae of the home; son Harry and wife; one granddaughter, Nora Mae; a grandson, Robert Lee, all of Topeka; two brothers, Charlie of Ottawa, and Arlie of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Effie Allen of Michigan Valley and Myrtle Shoemaker of Topeka; one niece, three nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 1, at 2pm at the Methodist church with Rev JW Bolton of Perry officiating and Rev Gene Taylor assissting. Mervin Little was soloist and sang "City Four Square" and "Beyond The Sunset", accompanied at the organ by Mrs Theron Bryson. The IOOF Lodge service was given by George D Sutherin, and Bill Baker, past Grand Masters of Topeka Lodge No 1. Casket bearers were Irving Haas, Russell Israel, Donald Coffman, Charles Jones, Lee Kaff and Chester Cooper. Interment was in Overbrook cemetery. Overbrook Paper-Thursday May 3, 1951
