Pallbearers will be Adam Argoe, Nick Argoe, Jeremy Ganz and David Zachry He was born January 23, 1935 in Savannah, GA; the son of the late Fred M. Argoe and the late Drusilla Judy Argoe. He served in the U.S. Navy for 13 years.He was a member of Highland Baptist Church and was retired from Ethyl Corporation as a Foreman. He was preceded in death by 2 children; Mitchell Argoe and Mark Argoe. Survivors include his wife; Joan C. Petti Argoe of the home; 3 children; Michael Argoe (Marie) of Batesburg-Leesville, SC; Kim Brigando of Jekyll Island, GA and Anthony Argoe (Lynda) of Goose Creek;1 daughter-in-law; Dale Argoe of Kite, GA; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, April 3, 2017 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association; 140 Stoneridge Drive, Suite 210; Columbia, SC 29210.
