Description	:	Funeral rites for Fred Busche were held from Griswold Trinity Lutheran Church on Saturday, Fred Wilhelm Busche, son of Ernest and Fredricka Busche, was born on July 4, 1872 at Red Blood, Illinois. He was confirmed into the Lutheran faith on June 3, 1888 at Trinity Lutheran Church of Litchville by Rev. E. C. A. Barthing. At an early age the family moved to Minnesota and then to Nebraska, where he received his early education. Read More	Funeral rites for Fred Busche were held from Griswold Trinity Lutheran Church on Saturday, Fred Wilhelm Busche, son of Ernest and Fredricka Busche, was born on July 4, 1872 at Red Blood, Illinois. He was confirmed into the Lutheran faith on June 3, 1888 at Trinity Lutheran Church of Litchville by Rev. E. C. A. Barthing. At an early age the family moved to Minnesota and then to Nebraska, where he received his early education. When he was 15 years of age the family moved to North Dakota, where he spent the rest of his life. He was married to Bertha Marie Louise Meitzel on January 9, 1908, in Trinity Lutheran Church of Litchville. One son Ernest, was born to this union. His wife preceded him in death on March 4, 1919. On June 8, 1955 he was admitted to Mercy Hospital of Valley City. He remained there for two weeks and then returned home, apparently in good health. On July 11 he was again admitted to Mercy Hospital where he passed away at 5:10 a.m., July 12, 1955, at the age of 83 years and 8 days. Besides his wife, 3 sisters and one brother preceded him in death. Those who remain to mourn his passing are his son, Ernest of Port Angeles, Washington, one sister, Mrs. Anna Regelein of Whitewater, Wisconsin, five brothers, Otto, also of Whitewater, Wisconsin, Gottfried of Fargo, Herman, Louis and Emil of Litchville and many nieces and nephews.
