Description	:	June 8 1951 Lethbridge Herald Fred W Butler given last rites at Warner C.R Church Warner (HNS) Requieum High Mass was said at our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church yesterday morning for Fred Wilber Butler who died at his home Sunday afternoon . Rev E.F. Hayman officiated & pallbeares were George Triodl , Richard Gruendwald , Don , Robert , Lyle , & Eugene Cody . Internment was at the Warner Cemetery & Martin Brother were in charge of the arrangements . Mr Butler was born in Watertown South Dakota June 29 1883 & attended public school there . He married Miss Clara Mary Schmitten at Phillips South Dakota on Oct 8 1910 . The couple moved to Warner in 1928 where they farmed until Mr Butler's death . A sports enthusiast Mr Butler acted as a baseball umpire in local games in former years , he was a member of the Warner Curling Club & the Rod & Gun club . He was also a member of the Farmers union of Alberta . Mr Butler had been hospitalized in Lethbridge for four weeks prior to his death and had improved sufficiently to return home for convalescence . Surviving by his widow are one daughter Mrs Leone Clayton 4 brothers Ralph & Floyd of California , Bert in Minnisota & Clair living in Alberta , 2 sisters Mrs Ada Delaney & Mrs Sherman Dahl of Grant's pass Oregon , 4 grandchildren Duanne , Gordon , Donna & Garry Clayton .
