Description	:	Funeral Held Friday for F.W. Diedrichsen, 80 Fred Diedrichsen, a resident of the Creighton community for more than 68 years, died Tuesday, May 25 in a Norfolk hospital at the age of 80. He underwent major surgery May 13. Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Edward Keller, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Saloum, John Rehder and Walter Clare. Fred Wilhelm Diedrichsen, son of Peter and Margaret Diedrichsen, was born May 17, 1885 at Bennington. He received his early education in Douglas County and moved to the Creighton area in March of 1897, where he spent the remainder of his life. He was baptized March 5, 1901 and confirmed March 24, 1901 both at Zion Lutheran Church in Creighton. He was married to Anna Marie Weber in 1909. She preceded him in death on July 19, 1940. Mr. Diedrichsen farmed all of his life until retiring several years ago, when he moved into Creighton. Surviving are three sons, Harry of Wausa, Leonard of Creighton and Frederic of Plainview; eight grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Hoffart of Omaha.
