On May 16, 1995, Fred was united in marriage with Judith Lyn Skaggs in Las Vegas, NV. Fred enjoyed NASCAR, golf, traveling, playing slot machines, drag races, and being a pilot. He loved his family and spending time with his grandsons. Fred died on Thursday, August 15, 2013, at Mary Greely Medical Center in Ames, Iowa. He was 67 years old. Fred was preceded in death by his father. Those left to honor Fred's memory include his wife, Judith Lyn Finley of Marshalltown, IA; his step-son, Aaron (Nicole) Jones of Marshalltown; his grandchildren, Caleb Jones and Ty Jones; his mother, Mary (Irvin "Dude") Duden of Ottumwa, IA; his brother, David Finley (Patti Work) of Iowa City, IA and his many friends.
