| Description | : | Friedrich Christian was the son of Friedrich Christian Mohr 1784-1846 and Friederica Juliana Tamms 1796-1853/4. His father died in Schleswig. In 1853 the widow Friederica nee Tamms Mohr, together with five of her children, Dorothea Mohr Koll and Anna Mohr Quade and their families, Frederich and his wife Elsabe Bruning and their family, and two younger unmarried sons Hans and Peter immigrated from Hamburg, Germany to New Orleans on a ship called the Johann Schmidt.
