Read More	Husband of Gertrude Elizabeth Rudroff, married Oct 3, 1922 Rich Fountain "Fritz Struemph, 90, Freeburg, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Care Center, St. Elizabeth. He was born July 23, 1899, in Koeltztown, the son of Joseph and Mary Falter Struemph. He ws married to Gertrude E. Rudroff who survives at the home. He was co-owner of Dickneite and Struemph Sinclair Oil Company in Freeburg for 22 years. He was employed with the Missouri Department of Revenue, Jefferson City for 16 years prior to retirement. Following his retirement he was a sacristan for Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg for almost 20 years. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church as well as serving as president and member of Holy Family school board. He drove a school bus for the schoool. He was the mayor for the city of Freeburg and served on the town board. Following his retirement he was employed with the street department and the water department with the city of Freeburg. In earlier years, he worked as a barber. Other survivors include: one son, Virgil Struemph, Freeburg; five daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Stuecken, and Mrs. Irma Stuecken, both of Freeburg, Mrs. Rosemary Castrop, Yukon, Okla., Mrs. Laurine Wildhaber, and Mrs. Alice Strattman, both of Jefferson City; one brother Joseph Struemph, Freeburg; 28 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Freeburg. The Rev. Hugh Behan will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Chapel, Vienna. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today. Memorials are suggested to the Holy Family Church and School Memorial Fund or to Masses preferred by the family." [JCNT, 01/29/1990]
