Description	:	Fred married Sobriety Smith 1867, at which time he had just returned to NH from San Francisco. They lived in Manchester with his parents and relocated with them to Laconia NH. His first wife died in 1877 and he married 2nd Katie Osgood. Fred was an overseer in the JW Busiel hosiery mill in Laconia New Hampshire. In 1902 he traveled to Montana or Minnesota and died there. (Beaman and Clark Genealogy, Wooden, indicates Fred went to Brainard Minnesota and died there. The Laconia NH City Directory indicates he went to Montana and shows his wife Katie to have been in Laconia, widowed, by 1904.) Probate, Belknap County, Laconia NH, Frederick L. Beaman will recorded Vol 26, pg 264, administration to wife Katie J. Beaman 1902. All of Fred's estate was left to wife Katie. Fred and Katie are buried together in Union Cemetery in Laconia NH. First wife was buried with her parents in Maine.
