Description	:	Frederick Wallace Hall was the son of Eli and Emma Hall. He was born July 11, 1870 near Wakarusa and moved to Jackson county with his parents when he was a boy and lived the greater part of his life in that community. He was married to Dinah B. He was born July 11, 1870 near Wakarusa and moved to Jackson county with his parents when he was a boy and lived the greater part of his life in that community. He was married to Dinah B. Hedrick on the 15th of December 1892. They were blessed with four children, Frank R., George F., Minnie L. and Reba I.. Dinah died January, 1920. In July 1922 he was married to Ella W. Nauheim. To this union there was two children, Robert J. and Dorothy E. Hall. He was a member of the Hoyt Baptist Church, of the I.O.O.F. and the Masonic Order of Hoyt. He served as County Commission of Jackson County for eight years giving much personal time and effort toward the construction of the County Court House. Through his efforts the Rural High School of Hoyt was built. He served as a board member of the High School and Woburn district for a number of years. Five years ago he moved to Burlingame, where he made many friends, but with failing health was planning to return to Hoyt, saying he wanted to spend his remaining years near his children and his old friends. He was always willing to serve his community and help friends and neighbors whenever he could. Frederick Wallace Hall died November 12, 1943 at the Topeka Hospital. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Mrs. Ella Hall; his three daughters, Minnie and Dorothy of the home, Mrs. Reba Ridley of Honolulu, Hawaii; his three sons, Frank and George of Hoyt, and Robert J in the armed forces, overseas; two step-sons, John Milton Nauheim of Hoyt and Charles W. Nauheim of Cedar Rapids, Ia,; four brothers Cash E. Hall of Washington, D. C., George C Hall of Topeka, Wilmer Hall of Maryville, Mo., and Charles Hall of Washington State. Funeral services were held at the Hoyt Baptist Church Sunday afternoon with Rev. Byron Adell, a schoolmate and friend through the years officiating. The Mansons conducted the services at the graveside. Interment was at the Hoyt Cemetery, Hoyt, Jackson County, Kansas.
