He came to the United States in 1909 and moved to Hale township and then to the Center Junction area. He married Sophie Christiansen, who came from Germany shortly after Mr. Blohm. She died in 1936. He married Edith Monk later. He is survived by one son, Marvin of Center Junction: four daughters, (Mrs. Norman (Frieda) Martensen, Mrs. Paul (Ella) Brokaw, Luciel and Velma; two sisters, Mrs. Frieda Ketelsen and Mrs. Hertha Lorenzen, both of Germany and five grandchildren.
