He left a wife, 4 sons and 2 daughters of his own family. His parents, 2 brothers, and 1 sister all residing in Lawrence. Preceded in death by one sister and an infant son. Moved to Lawrence at the age of 4. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning in the charge of Rev Father Becker. A very large number of friends were present to pay their respect and show the high regard they held for the departed. Lawrence Locomotive (Lawrence, NE), November 7, 1924 ====== LAWRENCE The Lawrence Locomotive Word was received here of the death of Fred Krebsbach at the Mary Lanning Memorial hospital (sic) at Hastings, Sunday night at 11 o'clock, where he had been confined for treatment of a very complicated blood disorder following an operation for removal of a small section of bone from his leg near the knee, which seems to have been the starting point from which the trouble continued to spread. He was highly esteemed and well liked by all, being a man of kindly turn and sympathetic nature, honorable and upright in all his dealing, he leaves many friends who will grieve with the grief-stricken family at his untimely death. Mr. Krebsbach was aged 44 and he was born near Crete, moving to this vicinity at the age of four years, where he has resided continuously since. He leaves a wife, two daughters and four sons of his own family. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Krebsbach, and one sister, Mrs. John Beyke, all resided here.
