OBITUARY – Fritz Venz, Jr. was born March 11, 1889, son of Fritz and Catherine Foster Venz, in Douglas county, Nebraska and died at Genoa, Nebr., March 12, 1943 at the age of 54 years and one day. In 1908 he came with his parents to the community east of Wolbach and farmed with his father for a number of years. In 1921 he married Rebecca McKinney who passed away in 1925. His mother also preceded him in death in September 1941. Mr. Venz moved to Belgrade in 1936 where he engaged in the trucking business until 1940 when he was forced to retire on account of his health. He was taken suddenly ill March 5 and was removed to the Genoa hospital where he passed away Friday. He leaves to mourn his passing a daughter, Sophie of Washington, D. C., his aging father, Fritz Venz and a brother, Henry, both of Belgrade, and a sister, Mrs. Frank Stoffell, besides nieces and nephews.
