She was married to Leroy Smith on November 26, 1924, at Downing, Missouri. to this union one daughter was born. She was a member of the Mt. Moriah Methodist Church over 50 years, and the Memphis Senior Citizens which she enjoyed very much. She was married to Leroy Smith on November 26, 1924, at Downing, Missouri. to this union one daughter was born. She was a member of the Mt. Moriah Methodist Church over 50 years, and the Memphis Senior Citizens which she enjoyed very much. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Junior and Norma Snodgrass; grandson, Stephen and Carolyn Snodgrass and one great granddaughter, Justina Lynn Snodgrass and one sister, Polly Floyd, all of Memphis; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, March 1, 1965; father, mother, two brothers, and eight sisters. She and her husband lived 41 years on a farm north of Arbela and the last 15 years she had lived in Memphis. Cecil was a very energetic and active person. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services were held in the Payne-Gerth Chapel, Memphis, Missouri, Saturday, March 1, 1980, at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Kenneth Campbell officiated. Burial was in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Scotland County, Missouri. Body bearers were Wilbur Fulk, Burdett Kice, David Robinson, Donald Jackson, Hillis Mallet, and Mike Aylward.
