A Celebration of Gary's life will be Monday, October 27 at the Mitchell Berean Church. Interment will be in West Lawn Cemetery at Gering. Gary was born September 18, 1942 at Tilden, NE., the son of Carl "Jack" and Joyce(McKnight)Osborn. He received his education at Stanton, NE., graduating with the Class of 1960. Gary was united in marriage to Ellen Dillon in 1960. To this union, children Mitch, Sally, Bill, Kristi and Nick were born. He then was united in marriage to Julie Hanzlik, March 22, 1984 at Brighton, CO. They lived in Colorado and Nebraska where they raised their four children Lisa, Holly, Amber and JR. They made their home at rural Scottsbluff/Mitchell since 1990. Gary worked in the farm implement business all of his life. At the time of his death, he was the General Sales Manager for 21st Century Equipment for all of their store locations.When not working he enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering in his shop/garage, creating new concoctions in the kitchen, making jerky, taking trips with his special friend Kathy and of course, Husker Football.Survivors include his mother Joyce, children Lisa (Tab) Wood of Imperial, Holly (Rob) Johnston of Scottsbluff, Amber Behrens of Mitchell, Gary "JR" Osborn of Scottsbluff, grandchildren Lane, Kelsey and Ansley "Bob" Wood of Imperial, Emme and Noah Johnston of Scottsbluff, siblings Donny of Denver, Tuffy (Sally) of Casper, Jackie (Chuck) Koopman and Holly (Dennis) Bohm all of Minneapolis, several nieces and nephews and special friend Kathy Brandt of Bridgeport.
